Hey, it's been quite a while since my last post. Been lazy. So now i'm going to babble about my day in Singapore. Universal Studios to be exact. It was exciting when the day came which was on the December 16th. I was really looking forward to it. Okay, so we stayed in Johor Bahru the day before, slept early, got up early in the morning, had breakfast, waited, got in the van, went to the bus station, got in the bus, crossed the bridge, went through immigration and all, viewed Singapore, got to the place, got off the bus, went up the escalator and bam ! USS ! And all the time i was thinking like, 'okay, i have a whole awesome day ahead of me'. Yeah, man..

Alright, first stop, Transformers The Ride. We thought we should try the new thing there first. So we got in line. But what we didn't know was just how long the line was. It was so, so, so, so, SO long. At first we were like, 'ouh, this isn't that bad, we're almost there.' But 'there' just wouldn't stop. It went on and on and on. By the time we were in there for the 2nd hour, we were tired and frustrated. Then we finally saw the end of the queue. I literally let out a huge sigh of relief ! So we got on the ride. It was a pretty short one but man was it awesome ! Seriously ! I think the 2-hour wait was pretty worth it :)
Since we were in Sci-Fi City, me and my sisters Thiela and Maya queued up for this roller-coaster ride called Battlestar Galactica. There are two kinds of coaster that you can choose from; Human and Cylon. We rode the Cylon because it had the shorter line at that time. The Cylon has these amazing twists and turns and loops and it suddenly dramatically accelerates and swoops down and goes upside down and around and around... well, you get the picture. And, it has the kind of seat where your legs just dangle in the air. It was the best roller-coaster ride ever ! And because we stayed there until night time, we got the chance to go on the other one, Human. The Human was our last ride in the USS after we circled the whole place. Human was also cool, it doesn't have as much twists and turns as Cylon but it goes like, really fast. 180km/h ? Woah. I loved both rides. And i'm also thankful that i didn't leave my head there. Haha..
Next, Madagascar. Yeah, Afrina went all crazy here. We got on this little boat ride called A Crate Adventure. Here, Afrina got a Melman toy. A stuffed animal, so her. And also a Gloria pillow. Maya wanted a Marty cap and a penguin mug so yeah, she got that. It was fun. I mean, i love Madagascar. They're so cute !
Far Far Away. It was raining at that time but it wasn't heavy. Nor did it last long, thank goodness. We got on another roller-coaster but this one wasn't that extreme. Still fun though and Afrina could ride with us so she was happy. Then we went into this 4-D Adventure where we get to watch a short movie or something. Of course in 4-D. It was great, you could feel the little water splashes, the wind and whatnot. We got ourselves an ice-cream each after. Then off to the next destination.
Waterworld is a place there that has something like a show with lots of you know, stunts and fire and explosions. This show has its showtimes so you can go see it only at that time. In the waterworld, there were three kinds of seats; red, green and blue. Blue seats are soak zone, green are splash zone and the red are safe from water basically. I would've liked to be in the green place but i didn't think the rest of us would want to. Never mind, getting soaked wasn't really on my to-do-list. Anyway, the show was great. We went on one ride in the Jurassic Park. It's like a coaster that didn't go that fast so we can actually see the view of USS without actually screaming our heads off like we would on the Cylon. It was kinda dark by then so it was really beautiful, the whole thing.
Up next, Ancient Egypt. There's this one ride that was totally awesome. It's like an indoor roller-coaster ride. It's fast and dark and has all these mummies and ghosts and such. At first i really didn't wanna go on that one but we figured it would be a waste to not try everything. And there wasn't really anyone else there that seems to be going on that ride so, why not ? I covered my eyes at times but mostly i didn't and i'm so proud of that. Haha.. Our faces were horrible in there. When the ride was over, we looked at pictures of ourselves while in the ride that was taken somewhere in the middle of everything. I thought we looked as horrifying as the ghosts ourselves.
So from there we just walked around a lot. Took pictures.. Especially in New York and Hollywood. I felt like we were in another place. Well yeah, we were but..i don't know how to put it in words. All in all, it was a hell of a superb day ;D
